Love ScreenFlow 4 – powerful, easy to use, with unmatched quality in every respect.

Unfortunately the ScreenFlow 5 update, while it offers nice features, has also introduced several huge bugs:
– Visual and audio sync often mysteriously drift out of sync.
– All operations seem sluggish, and scrubbing while editing is often a painful experience
– Editing is now much slower due to interface bugs and sluggishness

Telestream’s response to my email was unhelpful and dismissive. After pouring many hundreds of dollars into their corporate coffers I somehow expected at least marginal attempt to diagnose the issues – instead they chose to ignore my experiences – documented on two fast machines – both with the same performance issues.

Best advice is test the latest release extensively before purchase – but for now – I cannot recommend Screenflow 5 for any serious user.
